The Cover:

• Focuses on the band 'Asking Alexandria' which is on the front cover which highlights either a major event in the bands history or time for example ‘Don’t Panic They’re Back’. The Title also shows the name and logo of the publishing company which produces the magazine Rocksound. 

• White Title logo of the company that produces the magazine which is against a dark red/ back background which are easy to see/ read as the colours contrast greatly, the title will change colour to fit the colour theme of the magazine, it is high on the page and is clearly legible but isn't the focus of the cover.

• ‘On the Road and Off the Hook in Brazil’ the reason of the front cover and the main focus of the cover they magazine headline as the band is touring in Brazil.

• The Main image is directly mainly towards the reader all five band members are facing the camera with serious and intimidating expressions, With all band members showing tattoos and wearing hoodies and themed clothing around gothic genre. 

• Other bands that people who listen to that genre of music may also enjoy which would encourage people to purchase the magazine even if they aren't interested in the main title but in the other bands that are mentioned. 

• Focused content on the genre of music presented/ focused on by the company that produces the magazine e.g Asking Alexandria, Biffy Clyro, Black Veil Brides, The Blackout. 

• The text/ connotations are brightly coloured with clear Capital lettered text that is easy to read with a white background/ arrow behind them.

• The picture of the band Asking Alexandria which is the main focus and fills the majority of the front cover.

        The Magazine Rocksound 93 Is primarily focused on the band Asking Alexandria as they are on tour in brazil. The Layout of the front page of the Magazine uses a wide variety of bright and eye catching Graphics in the form of fonts, colours, pictures and texts alongside with a Masthead displaying Brand Identity of the company Rocksound in the form of their logo, as they are the company who produced the magazine. Furthermore all fonts, slogans, pictures and background images have been coloured to fit a certain Colour Theme, for example in this issue Red, Black and White are used alongside this the logo of Rocksound has changed colours over multiple issues to match the colour theme.  The Anchor Image of the band Asking Alexandria is used as the main feature/ attraction of the issue with the Strap-Line 'On the Road and Off the Hook in Brazil' This is aimed at fans of the band who are interested in the bands tours and the main events that they are involved in additionally this image is surrounded by pictures/ slogans of other bands that are related to the focus of the article including Biffy Clyro, Black Veil Brides and The Blackout who are popular as they perform similar styles/ genres of music. Short snappy annotations are used to catch the readers attention which are brightly coloured with images of the associated article 'Unmissable' free CD which is exclusive to that issue alongside with free CD's .

Contents and Double Page Spread:​

• The contents page links to the anchor band Asking Alexandria with a large image of the band over a double paged contents. 

• The contents page continue with the colour, font and text theme that was portrayed from the front cover and having the titles of each page portrayed in the contents.

• Will have captions will tie directly to the reader and will have prizes, giveaways and free exclusive products that the reader only gets when they purchase this particular magazine. 

• Have articles based on the anchor band/ image and then any related bands that are popular with the genre of music that the magazine article is based off of, this will usually be articles relating to the short captions on the front page which the reader can then read about inside the magazine. 

• Has the style of the pages numbers in the bottom corner that generally are in black or white text which is underlined or has a small box or circle around it, sometimes it has a small design or feature around the number.

• The anchor band which cis also on the front cover has a very large caption in the corner where the reader can find the article which is written about them in the magazine which is the main focus of the particle magazine issue. 

• The Double Page spread has lots of small articles which is related to the title of the pages, 'Best Bands of 2013', the text is organised in columns of three on each page which has small images dotted around the page which the text is then tightly wrapped around. 

• The Double page Spread is consistent with the colour, text and font theme which is presented on the front page and the contents page and throughout the magazine. Alongside this the background of the double page spread has the background of the contents page which has a very basic simple design as the background of the pages is never plain unless it is an image which the text is then typed onto. 

• The Double Page Spread has the Title of each Mini Article in a clear and distinguishable font which is then bolded or underlined.
